Annual Notice of Nondiscrimination

The College gives notice of our nondiscrimination policies and practices to it's stakeholders every year in July. The Hawkeye Community College Nondiscrimination Statement applies to all programs and services offered including all Career and Technical Education Programs and Liberal Arts AA and AS Degree Programs. Complaint Policy

A complaint or grievance procedure is available if you feel a Hawkeye Community College policy or practice is improper, unfair, results in an unsatisfactory learning environment, or there has been a deviation from, misinterpretation of, or a misapplication of, a practice or policy.

When regular communication channels and approaches have failed, students can file a complaint with the Dean of Students by completing the Student Complaint Form [pdf] and giving the form to the Student Services office or emailing the completed form to Deanofstudents@poscoop.com

To the extent a more specific policy or procedure of Hawkeye Community College applies to the Complaint, it may be referred for handling under the applicable policy or procedure.
